These Are the Heroes with the Passion to Transform Their Communities
OUR PARTNERS
— Education and Research
The name ‘Usawa’ is Swahili for ‘equity’ and it underlines our strong belief that equity is the socio-political and economic exigency of our time in the education sector, but also in society generally. This belief is rooted in the work of our precursor (the Uwezo program) that was implemented by Twaweza East Africa in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
— Palliative care for all
Kenya Hospices and Palliative Care Association (KEHPCA) exists to promote access to quality palliative care for all in need nationwide. With over 15 years of dedicated advocacy for palliative care, KEHPCA is a powerful voice for persons with palliative care needs (PLWPCN).
— Sexual and reproductive health for underserved girls
Tiko is a non-profit leveraging technology to transform sexual and reproductive health for underserved girls in urban and peri-urban Africa facing the ‘triple threat’ of teenage pregnancy, HIV, and sexual violence.
— Support those with terminal illness in Kenya
We are a registered UK charity helping to bring compassion, care, and support to children and adults living and dying with a terminal illness in Kenya.
